Interlocked Metal Hose
Arcor is proud to offer a variety of different metal tubing options, including types of shielding and interlocked flexible metal tubing, for many different uses.
TYPE UI: INTERLOCKED FLEXIBLE METAL TUBING
Type UI is standard, flexible tubing. Tubing sizes range from 3/16″ to 7″ ID with special diameters made to order. Tubing constructed of galvanized stainless steel, aluminum, brass, or bronze interlocking strips from .010″ to .012″ ID. Soldered, brazed, or welded on pipe nipple with fittings desired to fill any requirements. Tubing normally furnished unpacked, but packing may be ordered.
Standard flex and floppy tubing is available for many applications including:
- Bar hose
- Conveyer hose for dust, lint, sawdust, etc.
- Armor casing
- Shielding conduit
- Hot air ducts for space heaters
- Steam hose liners
- BOP

TYPE UIH: INTERLOCKED FLEXIBLE METAL TUBING
Able UIH are heavy-duty, interlocking strips between .018″ and .020″ thickness in galvanized or stainless steel only. Larger sizes up to 20″ are also available.
Tubing is normally furnished unpacked, but various packing may be ordered. Soldered, brazed, or welded-on pipe nipples with any fittings desired to fill any requirement are available.
Automotive Applications
Flexible hose for truck exhaust lines as well as for fume collectors in automotive garages.
