Arcor carries flexible conduit, also known as flexible metallic tubing, ranging in sizes from 1/3- inch to 2-inches inside diameters. The flexible conduit is made of interlocking metal strips of aluminum, galvanized steel, brass or bronze.

The flexible conduit can be used for protecting electronic and electrical wires and cables from mechanical abuse.

These products also provide electronic shielding and electrical system ground. Standard package is 100-foot coils. As a value added service, the product can be fitted with couplings and other fastening devices.

TYPE UI: INTERLOCKED FLEXIBLE METAL TUBING

Type UI is standard, flexible tubing. Tubing sizes range from 3/16″ to 7″ ID with special diameters made to order. Tubing constructed of galvanized stainless steel, aluminum, brass, or bronze interlocking strips from .010″ to .012″ ID. Soldered, brazed, or welded on pipe nipple with fittings desired to fill any requirements. Tubing normally furnished unpacked, but packing may be ordered.

Standard flex and floppy tubing is available for many applications including:
